Two years ago, volunteers and organizers in Mississippi assembled a statewide movement to elect Mike Espy to the U.S. Senate. We started building a coalition of volunteers and scrappy grassroots donors like you who want to take Mississippi forward.

But at the last minute, Mitch McConnell and his powerful special interest groups came to bail out our opponent, Cindy Hyde-Smith. The GOP machine dumped dark money into her campaign to try and drown our movement.

In the end, our campaign lost by just a handful of points. It was the closest U.S. Senate election in Mississippi since 1982.

This year, we have another real chance to elect Mike Espy and flip Mississippi. But in order to face Hyde-Smith again, we need all the resources we can get right now.
