This won’t make the holiday weekend headlines, but thousands of service members are still being deployed in response to escalating global conflicts.
Before our rare match offer expires at midnight, will you double your impact to help provide home-cooked meals to them this Fourth of July?
For service members deployed to some of the world’s most dangerous places, this July 4 will be yet another day of waking up in a lonely barracks and missing their loved ones. Another day eating dehydrated food from a ready-to-eat meal. Another day of hoping they’ll be able to find a secure internet connection to call their kids before bedtime.
Missing holidays at home is just one of the many, many sacrifices people in the military make throughout the year in service of our country, all while asking nothing of us in return. We may not be able to bring them home or fully understand the challenges they face, but at least we can make sure they enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal this Fourth of July.
So please, while a generous group of donors is MATCHING gifts to support our 1,000-meal goal, will you donate $37.50 or more to provide hot meals and show our heroes you’re with them this Fourth of July? Give before midnight to have the value of your gift DOUBLED for our service members deployed away from home.
