John: Robert Roberson was just given an Oct. 17 execution date for a crime that never occurred. Unless the courts or Governor Greg Abbott intervenes, Mr. Roberson will be the first person in the U.S. executed based on the discredited shaken baby syndrome hypothesis.

With just over 100 days to stop Texas from making the irreversible mistake of executing an innocent person, we’re counting on engaged supporters like you to join us in the fight to stop Robert's execution. John, will you help save an innocent life?

John, Robert Roberson is an innocent man who has spent more than 20 years on death row for a crime that never occurred. He was committed to being a present father to his chronically ill 2-year-old daughter Nikki, who tragically passed away from prior medical conditions after a short fall from bed.

While there is overwhelming medical and scientific evidence that shows Nikki died of accidental and natural causes, the court has still gone ahead and set the execution date without granting Robert's previously filed request for a hearing.

Robert's innocence case is attracting growing and widespread support from eminent scientists, doctors, faith leaders, innocence groups, and former federal judges — and even the lead detective who testified for the prosecution now believes he contributed to an innocent person being sent to death row.

I testified for the prosecution and helped send Mr. Roberson to death row in 2003. I have come to believe that Nikki died of accidental and natural causes. I am convinced that Mr. Roberson is innocent.’ — Brian Wharton, former lead detective

Robert Roberson never had a fair shot at justice. But with your help, we can change that. John, we have just over 100 days to stop Texas from executing an innocent person. Will you please join his advocacy team, sign our petition, and share his story far and wide on social media?
