On Monday, the people of Iowa will officially kick off this primary
election when they caucus to make their voices heard. Now, I'm
not worried about our side of the equation. No matter which one
of our three amazing candidates comes out on top in Iowa, I know
Democrats are prepared to keep moving us forward.

But let's take a minute to talk about the Republicans.

No matter who gives the GOP victory speech after the caucuses,
we know that each and every one of them wants to walk back all
the progress we've made together. That's the kind of thing that
keeps me up at night -- knowing how close one of them could
come to the White House. But it's also the thing that gets me up
in the morning. Because I know that we have to make the most
of every second of every minute of every day if we are going to
be victorious in November, and I know you feel that same way.

We've been working at this for months already, Samuel. And
we're not going to let up anytime soon. So we've set a pretty
ambitious goal for this month, but it's one that I truly believe we
can meet together. Will you make one of the 35,000 donations
we need from grassroots supporters like you before Sunday at
midnight to finish this month strong and totally crush our first
fundraising deadline of 2016?

The folks that we're up against offer us a powerful reminder of
why we fight for progress. And they keep us focused on
everything that's at stake in this election. What we do today will
set us up for victory, and this is one we simply cannot afford to
lose.
