just wanted to reach out to say thank you.

My team just let me know that we hit our all-important end-of-quarter
fundraising goal last night. That’s all thanks to your
support.

When we called on grassroots supporters to help us keep pace with my
self-funding opponent, you took the call. Our campaign is stronger because
of it.

We had to spend more than we anticipated over the past three months.
Republicans didn’t give us a choice after pouring more than $19 million
into Wisconsin.

But we were able to respond, thanks to you.

When end-of-quarter fundraising reports are made public, we’ll learn how
much my megamillionaire opponent loaned himself since the first $8 million
check he cut for his campaign. He’s pledged to self-fund north of $20
million to flip this seat red, so there’s a good chance that he’s cut his
campaign another seven-figure check.

This race isn’t going to get any less expensive, and it won’t be long
before we need to make more difficult decisions about our campaign
spending.

But today, I want to keep this message to a thank you.
