On Thursday, we will celebrate the glorious independence of our great nation. There will be parties, parades, fireworks, burgers and kids with American flags painted on their faces. It is a wonderful time for America, and a wonderful time for her people.
As we reflect on the amazing courage it took for our forefathers to sign the Declaration of Independence in direct defiance of the tyrannical British government, we have to remember the infamous words of Benjamin Franklin when asked what kind of government was created: “A Republic, if you can keep it.”
Now, more than ever, it is crucial that we unite together to stop the tyrannical left from destroying everything that this country was founded upon. And it starts with supporting our Supreme Court.
Our Supreme Court has been under heavy attack from the radical left, as you well know, and it’s time the American people stood strong with our conservative justices and the institution of the Court.
Below are three actions we are asking you to take this week.

You can make the difference by reaching out to your elected officials and telling them that you support our Supreme Court and that the moves to shake confidence in their decisions will not work, and that you don’t support the radical leftist agenda to pack the court with additional justices. This insanity must stop.

Since you have them on the phone, tell your elected officials that you support the SAVE Act (introduced in the Senate by Mike Lee (R-UT) and in the House by Chip Roy (R-TX), because only citizens should vote in this country. The SAVE Act requires proof of citizenship before registering to vote, and every member of Congress should support this legislation.

Additionally, every year we encourage you to read the Declaration of Independence aloud to your family and/or your guests during your Independence Day celebration. Since our schools don’t want to teach accurate American history, it is up to each of us to pass the torch of freedom on to future generations. Use this online copy if you don’t have one in your house, but I always recommend having a paper copy of it and the Constitution in your home.

Taking action this week is one of the most patriotic things we can do to honor the sacrifices made by our Founding Fathers. However, I recommend you do them early in the week so that you can take July 4th to relax and celebrate with family and friends.
