Subject: My Zoom call with the PCCC

This week, I joined PCCC members on a Zoom call and discussed a number of issues — from a Green New Deal to Medicare For All to corporate corruption of our political system (you can watch it here).

One takeaway from my experience at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in Washington is that the reason people are skeptical of government is that we have had a generation of corporate-driven political leadership. Our system is overwhelmed by corporate influence. It impacts everything from our health care to our climate — and whether families get a fair shot. But, we have an opportunity in Ohio’s Third District to vote for change and a new generation of leadership.

Now more than ever, we know our community is preoccupied with lost jobs, upcoming bills, unstable housing, and caring for children and elder relatives under a stay-at-home health order. Together, with your help, we’ll make sure that no one is disenfranchised by the extended election in Ohio’s democratic primary.

After we launched, I heard every reason under the sun why running a true grassroots campaign would not work. But we're doing it! We were on course to win in March, and we can win on April 28 if supporters like you fuel our campaign right now. Will you donate today?
