Hi John ,
TL;DR: Live from Capitol Hill: Rep. Stauber's latest attack on the Boundary Waters. Email your member of Congress right now to protect Canoe Country. [[link removed]]

Northeastern Minnesota’s Congressman is laser-focused on rolling back Boundary Waters protections. Yesterday, he proved that point once again .
Rep. Stauber turned his attention to a must-pass Department of Interior spending bill. He pounced at the chance to introduce another slew of legislative amendments attacking the Boundary Waters. The amendments would:
*
Open
up
the
Boundary
Waters
headwaters
to
toxic
copper
mining:
by
reversing
the
recent
historic
win
that
protected
hundreds
of
thousands
of
acres
in
the
watershed.
*
Hand
mining
leases
to
Antofagasta
to
pursue
their
toxic
copper
mine
on
the
edge
of
the
Boundary
Waters.
Sound familiar? He used this same playbook only two weeks via a must-pass National Defense bill.
We cannot let this latest attack go unchecked. [[link removed]]
TAKE ACTION [[link removed]]
Please send this message to your U.S. House Representative now. Ask that they oppose these dangerous, anti-Boundary Waters amendments and that they instead support the legislation that 70% of Minnesotans want: to permanently protect the Boundary Waters from toxic copper mining.
So far this year Rep. Stauber has tried and tried and tried again. And because of your pushback, we have been able to defeat a majority of his attacks. We must continue to fight back and focus on electing Boundary Waters champions.
Send this message to your U.S. House Representative, and urge them to take action. [[link removed]] We cannot protect our Wilderness without you.
