Natalie, Team Huizenga, and I had a wonderful time knocking on doors this weekend. We had a lot of great conversations about the issues that matter the most to Southwest Michigan!

In fact, many of the conversations went so well that folks were asking for a sign to put up in their yard. If you would like a free sign, just respond to this email and I will make sure a member of Team Huizenga drops one off for you!

While it was great to speak with so many voters, we obviously came across houses where people were not home. When that happened, Natalie and I wrote "sorry we missed you" notes [[link removed]] and encouraged voters to participate in the August 6th Republican Primary.

One of the topics that was top of mind for many people was securing our southern border. I discussed how I have voted for the strongest border security measure to pass the House in modern times as well as legislation I have personally introduced to hold Joe Biden accountable for his plan to allow 2 million inadmissible individuals - meaning people not allowed into our country under current immigration law -- into the United States.

I also shared with voters how I am working to tackle our nation's unsustainable debt and how legislation I have introduced (The Fiscal Commission Act) will help restore some fiscal sanity and help get our nation's fiscal house in order.

I hope you find this update helpful. We recently received a new shipment of yard signs and I thought this would be a great opportunity to help spread the word.
