It's hard to believe that more than nine years have gone by
since we first started on this path together. Our journey
was improbable, and the challenges Barack faced when he took
the Oath of Office seemed insurmountable. But together, we
made so much progress for so many hardworking families, and
I am so grateful for everything you've done to make that
possible.

Next month at the Democratic National Convention, we'll
officially nominate our next president and hear from so many
great Democrats who are running for Congress, for governor,
and to become mayors and city council members.

And Samuel, from now until Election Day, all those Democratic
candidates will be relying on you -- just as much as Barack
always has all these years. I know you won't let them down.

Thursday is the last major fundraising deadline before the
Convention. If you're able to, I hope you'll pitch in before
