Respect Together (formerly Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape) is celebrating 50 years and 25 years since we established the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) on Denim Day, Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

Denim Day was originally triggered by a ruling by the Italian Supreme Court where a rape conviction was overturned because the justices felt that since the victim was wearing tight jeans she must have helped her rapist remove her jeans, thereby implying consent. The next day, the women in the Italian Parliament came to work wearing jeans in in support of the victim. Will you stand with us in solidarity with survivors everywhere?
