Dear John,

It feels like time is flying by this year – and here at Caring Across Generations, we’ve had quite the 2024.

Here’s what we’ve been able to accomplish so far this year:

* We joined and organized over a dozen care events across the country, building power with caregivers, care recipients, and care activists.
* We hosted online trainings for caregivers and care recipients. We also hosted impactful 1:1 conversations with care champions like Tarana Burke and Lisa Ling.
* We welcomed a new class of 100 Care Fellows –  a group of caregivers and care recipients from across the country who will come together for six months to develop their care leadership skills!
* Thousands of care activists (like you) signed our petition to lower care costs, sharing the outrageously high costs and millions of dollars that you pay for care.
* We held screenings of films featuring care across the country and online, elevating the importance of films like Flower and Take Me Home. We even hosted a powerful screening for an event at the White House just a couple of weeks ago!

Here’s what’s still to come:

* We’re hosting a summit focused on the intersection between care and disability – happening later this month, in honor of Disability Pride.
* We’re organizing performances in partnership with Tony Award-winning playwright and actress Sarah Jones to elevate the importance of talking about care. Stay tuned to find out if we’re coming to your state!
* We’re organizing a bus tour to talk about care in key states in the lead-up to the 2024 election – and you can join us at one of the stops on the road.
* We’ll educate constituents and voters so everyone knows why care needs to be a priority for this year’s election. We’ll share tips for meeting with your legislators, joining town halls, and sharing your care story.

All this is only possible with your support, John. Any donation you make today directly supports our work to empower our care movement.
