Pastors, churches and faith leaders,

The election is just around the corner, and it's a perfect opportunity to get involved!

Many churches hesitate to get involved due to concerns about losing their 501(c)(3) status. At Pacific Justice Institute, we want to reassure you that churches can legally conduct voter registration tables under the following conditions:

1. No endorsement of a specific party or candidate
2. All members regardless of their political beliefs are encouraged to register to vote

It is also important to know that churches need to ensure non-partisan voter registrations and these are the ways on how to:

1. Do not mention candidates by name unless all are mentioned
2. You must register everyone (you cannot register voters particularly aligned with a specific candidate, everyone willing to register must be accommodated).
3. Do not let representatives from political parties or campaigns run the registration process

We encourage you to set up voter registration tables at your church and inspire your congregation to register to vote. It's time for us to stand against unbiblical principles in our communities and be the change we wish to see.

To learn more about how churches can conduct voter registration, including the distribution of voter guides, we highly encourage you to watch the following video:

P.S. The next date we're encouraging churches to host voter registration tables is the weekend of July 4th. Let's make a difference together!
