Every month, thousands of Amazon workers sustain serious injuries on the job. To Amazon, that’s just a number – but for someone who works on their feet, a serious back or knee injury can change the course of their lives.

Because they’re forced to work at a breakneck pace with little downtime, Amazon’s warehouse workers get seriously injured twice as often as other warehouse workers. And those are just the injuries we know about – OSHA has already caught Amazon omitting incidents from its records and blocking regulators from even entering their buildings.

A Senate committee launched an investigation into these safety issues last year. Add your name to demand they release the report and hold Amazon CEO Andy Jassy accountable for its appalling safety record.

This is the first step in forcing Amazon to adopt common-sense safety measures for its workers, like:

• Limiting the number of repetitive, fast-paced tasks required to meet quotas

• Ending the constant surveillance and discipline that drives injury and anxiety

• Allowing folks to fully recover from injuries without pressuring them to return to work

• More frequent rest breaks, especially in hot weather
  
  

We know Amazon won’t protect workers on its own – regulators have cited the company for its “plain indifference for employee safety.” That’s why this investigation is so important. Add your name and tell the Senate to release the report before their summer recess in July.
