The current health crisis has made one thing crystal clear: We need equal access to the internet now more than ever.
john, my family has been fortunate enough to be able to log online every day so that my wife and I can work from home and our daughters can attend virtual classes and do homework.
But that’s not the case for all Americans.
DEMAND BROADBAND ACCESS FOR ALL →
Millions of Americans don’t have access to broadband, particularly in rural areas. That means they can’t go online to work, do schoolwork, go to virtual doctor appointments, order groceries and prescriptions, get important public health and safety information, and connect with family and friends.
Instead, they’re forced to rely on other internet options that are spottier, slower, or more expensive, or they have to go without the internet altogether.
Too many Americans are getting left behind. I’m in this race to be a senator for all Tennesseans -- no matter what your zip code is -- because we all need access to resources and opportunities to not only get by every day but to succeed and thrive.
Will you add your name to mine and call for expanded high-speed broadband access for all?
In service,
James
