Dear John,

This is the week we celebrate Independence Day! We have so much to be thankful for, as citizens of this country. We owe our Founding Fathers and the fighters in the Revolutionary War our deepest perpetual gratitude. They were brave enough to fight against the British Crown that was unfairly denying them representation, taxing them despairingly, requiring them to house troops, and oppressing families and small businesses.

Each generation has their own challenges, and those we face today are certainly great. Our southern border is wide open, we are borrowing money from foreign governments to fund OTHER foreign governments, inflation is running rampant as our national debt soars to new heights, and people are NOT better off than they were four years ago. Top this off with the problems we face in elections with non-citizens voting, lack of voter ID requirements in most states, elections seasons going on for 45 days, and insecure mail-in ballot procedures.

I have received report after report from voters who mailed their ballots but cannot confirm if their ballots were received and counted. I have report after report of ballot drop boxes not being secured properly. There are huge problems in Virginia, and the General Assembly in Richmond needs to do something about it. Instead, it seems they are ignoring the big problems, and turning a blind eye to the outcomes these problems create.

It’s one of the main reasons I am demanding a hand recount of the June 18 primary. Tomorrow, the State Board of Elections is expected to meet and certify the election. After that, I will be afforded the opportunity to petition for a recount to ensure every legal vote is counted and that no vote is missed!

Thank you to the hundreds who have sent us messages of encouragement and donations since the June 18 primary election. I am pursuing this recount because you asked for it. Will you consider a donation to help fund the recount? In Virginia, the candidate pays the cost when the margin is between 0.5% and 1.0%, and the margin is 0.6% in this race. We need your help to fully fund legal teams to help us in all 24 counties and cities.

We also have a small amount of primary debt remaining. If you’d like to give to our debt retirement fund, please donate here.

For God and Country,

Bob
