Hi John,

In a moment, I'm going to ask that you consider making a contribution towards our end-of-quarter FEC fundraising deadline tonight, but first, I want to talk to you about something that's been on my mind and I know on the minds of many folks in our district. 

Earlier this year, Donald Trump's allies unveiled their now infamous 900-page blueprint for a second Trump term: Project 2025. This plan would give Donald Trump unprecedented power and upheave our republic in ways previously thought unimaginable. Within it, they plan to gut our government from the inside, firing experienced civil servants who would be checks on their worst impulses to advance their far-right agenda.

John, I don't like sounding like an alarmist, but I'm worried. The consequences of this year's election go far beyond the next couple of years, and that's why I'm committed to doing everything I can to support our broader Democratic ticket from local office to the White House. 

We must take back the House and beat Donald Trump this fall to prevent Republicans from executing the radical agenda outlined in Project 2025, which threatens to destabilize our government and undermine our democratic institutions.
