I’m reaching out personally here because this matters—It matters enough to reach out on a Sunday night. Our LAST quarterly FEC deadline before the primary is tonight at midnight, and I could really use your help hitting our fundraising goal. We’re currently only a couple of thousand dollars away.

This has been a challenging week–the media is trying to portray Dems as divided and in disarray and Republicans are SWARMING. We have got to keep our eyes on the prize–taking back the House and winning in key battleground areas all over the country.

We know West Michigan will be at the heart of the election this November – in less than 130 days – for the Presidency, the U.S. Senate seat, control of the U.S. Congress, and so much more. We are organizing early, and we are ready to work to hold this seat. Thank you for being a partner in this work.

After this deadline, we’ll be required to open up our campaign books and let folks know if our campaign has the strength it needs to power through an intense election season. Particularly in light of this week, we HAVE to make sure they know that our support is not waning, it’s just winding up. One of my opponent's family has already poured $1 million into his campaign, and Republicans looking to flip this seat are following suit.

I don’t come from money or a political dynasty. In 2022, I won this race through my own elbow grease and generous grassroots supporters like you.

I know we have the grassroots power to fight back against Republican attacks, but it’s crucial our fundraising numbers reflect that. So, John, can I count on your support again this year with a contribution of $10 ahead of midnight’s FEC quarterly deadline?
