Hey there — I know I’m reaching out on a Sunday, and I’m sorry. But here’s the truth:

We’re facing our biggest FEC fundraising deadline of the campaign so far in just a few hours. We’re $1,880 short of our goal, and we’re hoping to get three more donations from 19125 before midnight to help us close the gap.

If that’s all you need to hear, and you’re ready to pitch in and help us win this critical race here in CO-07, I’d be incredibly grateful if you could use this link to rush a contribution.

But if you need some convincing, here are a few reasons why I believe this campaign is worth your support:

1) I will continue to fight night and day to restore a woman’s right to have an abortion in all 50 states. House Republicans continue to push a national abortion ban so extreme it would even criminalize IVF. I’m determined to stop them — but playing defense isn’t good enough. I helped pass Colorado’s law protecting abortion rights in our state, and I won’t stop working until we pass a national law protecting reproductive freedom everywhere in our nation.

2) I’m standing up for our values, but I’m also working for bipartisan progress. I’ve partnered with Democrats and Republicans to push for legislation to tackle our opioid epidemic, strengthen mental health resources, make housing more affordable, and deliver critical investments to communities across CO-07.

3) I know what economic insecurity feels like — and I’m fighting for regular families whose needs so often go overlooked in Congress. I did everything from cleaning houses, to working at a bagel shop, to waiting tables in order to get by while going to school. Congress needs more stories like mine, and fewer politicians who try to cozy up to special interests by slashing tax rates for the wealthy.

4) The House majority is up for grabs in this election. To win control of the House, we need to flip just FOUR Republican-held seats — and hold down must-win seats like mine here in CO-07.

5) We’re up against a Colorado GOP that is beyond extreme. They’re determined to ban abortion, legalize discrimination against LGBTQ+ people, and toss out any representative who doesn’t march in lockstep with Donald Trump. We can’t let them get a foothold here in CO-07, or let them air deceptive attacks without responding.

It’s the honor of my life to represent our community in Congress, but there is so much work left to be done, and this election will determine whether we get the opportunity to do it. If you support the kind of leadership I provide for Colorado — and don’t want to see me replaced with a MAGA extremist — then I am humbly asking for your support before our midnight FEC deadline.
