It was an honor to serve as the Senator for North Dakota for six years. It's heartbreaking that I was the last Democrat to do so.
That's what we're here to fix – elect more Democrats to office by putting rural concerns like infrastructure, hospitals, and higher wages front and center.
Back when I was elected in 2012, it felt like everyone had a stake in doing what was right and what was best for our communities. No one rooted for failure. And there was a lot less obstruction and slow-walking.
But then the ideological extremists rushed on the scene, peddling skepticism, division, and fear.
So, we're fighting back against it with One Country Project – helping to power, organize, and band together in a grassroots effort to end extremism in rural communities from the East Coast to the West. This is the only way we can bring our country back together to support rural health care, reproductive rights, and democracy.
One Country Project is supporting grassroots movements against extremism in rural states because that's where the direction of our entire country will be decided in 2024.
This is our last appeal before the end-of-quarter deadline at midnight tonight. Can I count on you to chip in $12 today and stand with us as we fight to end the extremism that threatens all of rural America?
Heidi
