Hi John,
Tonight at midnight is a critical fundraising deadline for the 13 new candidates we endorsed last week. They are running for seats in key swing state legislatures in Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Why is tonight’s deadline so important? Strong fundraising numbers will show that these are compelling campaigns with significant grassroots support – which will signal to other donors, supporters, and the party that these are viable candidates worth investing in.

Early money also allows the campaign to hire talented staff right away, and pay for digital ads and mailers to help increase voter awareness. Finally, early money frees our candidates up to spend time talking directly to voters, instead of calling donors.
With enough resources to reach targeted voters on the phones, at the doors, and online, our new candidates can win, help create, protect, and expand Democratic majorities, and protect the rights of their communities — from voting rights to abortion rights.
And while their opponents’ accounts will be flooded from large donations from big-monied right-wing interests, our progressive champions rely on small-dollar contributions from supporters like you to fuel their campaigns.
So, if you’ve been waiting to show our new candidates some grassroots love, now is the perfect time to do it!
