Earlier this week, Senate Republicans pledged to spend nearly $6 million more to help our opponent beat Mark Kelly.
Yesterday afternoon, our opponent filed her FEC fundraising report showing she raised more than $6 million — the vast majority of it coming from big contributions.
We raise our money a bit differently. Our average contribution over the course of the campaign is $43.
Now our $43 a pop vs. their $12 million combined may not seem like a fair fight.
And you are right. It’s not.
Because when you chip in $3 and someone else makes a $3 contribution and tens of thousands of people add $3 more, they can’t keep up. And that’s when we win. That’s when we elect Mark Kelly.
So we’re asking:
We have a chance to keep up and win if lots and lots and lots of people chip in what they can when they can. And if you can — if you can add your $3 today — we have no doubt that’s how this race will end: in victory.
