Hey team,

Just reaching out before tonight’s deadline to see if you saw Angela’s
email about why we set such an ambitious FEC fundraising goal ($500,000 is
a lot of 🧀).

Feel free to read her message below if you haven’t already, but just know
that with only hours to go before our midnight deadline, we could use a
grassroots boost to get us across the finish line.

[ [link removed] ]Can Angela count on your support? If so, please consider
chipping in $25 (or whatever fits your budget right now) before midnight
so that our FEC Filing reflects the strength of this grassroots team!

If you can spare a quick minute, I’d love to tell you why
we set a $500,000 FEC End-of-Quarter Goal, and where that money is going
when we hit it.

But if you’re in a rush — or you’re already sold and ready to do whatever
it takes to defeat Republican Larry Hogan and keep Maryland blue — [ [link removed] ]feel
free to chip in a quick $25 before our midnight filing deadline!

Let’s start with the obvious: $500,000 is a big, ambitious goal.

But here’s the thing: With the Senate majority on the line and Larry Hogan
courting the far-right for support, big and ambitious goals are what it’s
going to take to win.

As for how that money will be spent? Well, I could just say we’ve got a
lot to do to set ourselves up for success over the next few months, but it
might be easier to give you some specifics:

We need to ramp up our voter outreach efforts. That means knocking on
doors, organizing phone banks, and talking to folks in their communities.

We need to recruit and organize volunteers. We’ve got to train folks how
to talk about the race, lay out the stakes of the election, and make the
case for our Maryland-first message.

We need to continue building up our team. I’m surrounded by an amazing,
dynamic team, but we need to hire and train even more staff to expand our
capabilities.

We need to maintain an efficient, effective digital presence. That
includes email, texting, ads, you name it.

And so, so much more.

[ [link removed] ]Whether or not we hit this $500,000 FEC Goal will have far-reaching
consequences for the rest of the race, which is why I’m asking: Can I
count on you to chip in $25 toward our goal before our midnight deadline?

If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your
donation will go through immediately.

Thank you for being such an important piece of what we’re working on here
in Maryland.
