New report: High risk of famine persists across Gaza
The most recent United Nations-backed report shows a high risk of famine persists across the whole of the Gaza Strip as long as conflict continues and humanitarian access is restricted. About 96 percent of the population in the Gaza Strip — 2.15 million people — face high levels of acute food insecurity. Mercy Corps continues to use our voice to call for a ceasefire and an end to the siege.
