Major corporations are making the shameful decision to escalate their union-busting tactics in response to a recent wave of unionization across New York City and country.

Just last month, the Supreme Court ruled in an 8-1 decision in favor of Starbucks and against workers — making it easier for employers to fire employees who are fighting to unionize their workplace.

This is just the latest anti-worker ruling from this Supreme Court, which Axios has called “the most pro-business SCOTUS in history.”

National setbacks for the labor movement — propelled by union-busting corporations, far-right politicians, and a conservative Supreme Court majority — demonstrate all the more how important Brad’s work to uplift NYC’s workers is.

Brad has been a longtime partner of the labor movement, from returning $8 million in stolen wages to NYC workers as Comptroller to crafting landmark pro-worker policies that set an example for the entire country.

The Supreme Court’s decision is deeply disappointing to Brad and to all of us who care about workers’ rights. But with Brad as the city’s chief investment advisor, the city’s public pension funds will continue to hold union-busting companies accountable.

Every worker deserves dignity, respect, job security, and of course, a union. Will you make a donation before tonight's June fundraising deadline to show Brad your support as he stands with the labor movement? [[link removed]]
