I'm on the second leg of a two-cycle strategy to defend Democratic values and move rural America forward.
Last cycle, we established and accomplished a lot - Statistically, as a first-time candidate, the odds of defeating a four-time incumbent are less than 1%. But, by running again, those odds are drastically increased.
In fact, one year here, in the same scenario, keeping faith in second-time challenger put us within half a percentage point of defeating the GOP.
Bergman has never faced a second-time challenger. This is our year, and to get there, we need resources to send us across the finish line first.
Our campaign is fueled exclusively by thousands and thousands of grassroots supporters chipping in what they can, when they can. Not corporate PACs, no dark money. Just hardworking, everyday contributors joining the fight. And, as of April, we have more in-district donors than Bergman!
We have a clear path to victory and we cannot lose momentum.
