TRUMP CONVICTION: Last month, Donald Trump was convicted by a jury of falsifying business records and paying hush money to Stormy Daniels. You would think this would hurt his campaign, but in the months since he has raised millions of dollars by calling himself a “political prisoner.”
OIL DEAL: Meanwhile, in a closed door meeting at Mar-a-Lago, Trump offered Big Oil executives a deal to give him $1 billion to help win this election and he would pass anti-environment policies to allow them to pollute our environment and avoid climate taxes while making you pay more at the pump.
SUPREME COURT: The ultra-conservative Supreme Court appointed by Trump has taken a dagger to our environmental rules - and just this past week made a blatant power grab to give THEMSELVES exclusive authority over every environmental, climate, and other regulatory question. This breaks decades of precedent under which agency experts were the deciders. Even our most bedrock environmental and climate rules are no longer safe under this Court.
