Truthfully I don’t like to send too many emails to you. And I try not to reach out on a Sunday when many folks are rightfully taking some time for themselves on a nice summer day.

But the reason I’m reaching out despite that is because, frankly, we’re behind on our goals and we are just hours away from the close of our first FEC fundraising deadline of the year.

The good news is that a few hours is more than enough time to beat our goal.

In fact, based on our math only a few hundred more people would need to make a contribution for us to cross the finish line. That’s less than 1% of the people reading this email, and less than 0.1% of the people who make up this movement.

And if we did beat our goals, we would be able to send a serious message to the far-right mega-donors and the Republican Super PACs that this grassroots team has the support and the resources to help our candidates go up against them and win.

So, I have to ask:
