The extreme MAGA Court’ latest ruling blocked the EPA’s Good Neighbor Plan, which was designed to protect states from upwind air pollution. This is yet another Supreme Court ruling that undermines crucial climate and environmental protections we so desperately need.

This is also yet another example of corruption within the Court, as there are shady ties to Big Polluters among some Supreme Court Justices who then failed to recuse themselves from this case.

In the face of the stolen Court’s continued efforts to disable the EPA, it is up to Congress to pass legislation that specifically codifies environmental safeguards and policies as well as policies to hold Supreme Court Justices in check.

We must prepare to tackle the climate crisis against any obstacles, including the Supreme Court, which continues to put Big Polluters over people. Congress must immediately step up and pass meaningful climate actions as well as binding codes to hold the Supreme Court in check.
