Today is one of my least favorite days of my job, Friend.

Tonight, I have an FEC fundraising deadline. At midnight, Team Dingell will close our fundraising books and start preparing a public fundraising report that shows how much money I raised and how much cash we have on hand.

It’s one of my least favorite days because it means I have to come to you to ask you for money. I know these deadlines are important because they impact our campaign’s success in the district.

I need to reach voters in Michigan’s 6th District because turnout in this district will have a direct impact on the outcome of the presidential race, Michigan’s U.S. Senate seat, and competitive state house races.So here is my least favorite question to ask you: Will you stand with me and make a contribution to my campaign before my FEC fundraising deadline at 11:59 tonight?
