Hi friend, it's Sherrod. I wanted to take a moment to share what's at stake in our battleground race in Ohio:

* The Dignity of Work. Bernie Moreno doesn't believe in a minimum wage, and he only wants to protect the wealthiest 1%. But unlike him, I'm committed to fighting for the hardworking people of Ohio.

* Affordable health care. Bernie Moreno wants to repeal the Affordable Care Act, while I’m working to make health care, including insulin, more affordable and accessible for all Ohioans.

* The future of abortion rights. If elected to the Senate, Moreno could be the deciding vote on a national abortion ban. And he'd vote yes. I want to codify Roe v. Wade and restore abortion access in every single state.

* Control of the Senate. With our Democratic majority hanging on by a thread, we have no choice but to defend this must-win seat if we want to keep the Senate blue.

But experts have said I’m one of the most vulnerable senators running for reelection, and the GOP is spending record-breaking amounts on flipping this seat red.

With polls showing me locked neck and neck with Moreno, it’s critical for us to hit every goal from here through Election Day – and that includes our $750,000 end-of-quarter goal. 

So please, will you rush $5, $25 – anything you can spare before the FEC deadline – so we can win in Ohio and keep the Senate blue?
