My name is Oliver Morrison, and I’m PublicSource’s environment and health reporter.
The coronavirus is the defining public health emergency of our time. In the coming months and years, there will be massive changes to how we approach public health in this country. What do you think will change? What might get lost in the rush to address this pandemic and the next one? What other health stories should we be focused on?
And, at some point, we will need to turn our attention back to the slow-moving future disaster that peeks its head out during natural disasters every year: climate change.
I try to find stories that are not being told by other outlets. Sometimes that means we don’t write the same story every other outlet in town is doing. But it’s an art and not a science, and I’d love to hear what you'd like to see.
What important issues are you not seeing other outlets cover? What perspectives are you not hearing? Or are there ways of presenting information that would help you in your life?
Let me know! Email me at [email protected], call me at 206-643-9731 (texting first will help) or find me on Twitter @ORmorrison.
