Emily’s anti-abortion Republican opponent recently cast a truly disgusting vote. Here’s what happened:

The Washington legislature passed a bill creating a civil penalty for “stealthing” — the removal of a condom or other sexually protective device without a partner’s knowledge or consent.

Let’s be clear: Stealthing is a form of sexual assault. California and other states have passed similar laws. Providing a pathway to justice for survivors of this deceptive, immoral act SHOULD be a no-brainer.

The bill passed the State Senate with bipartisan support. But Emily’s MAGA Republican opponent, Sen. Drew MacEwen, was one of only SIX senators to vote “NO.”

With politicians and judges around the country seeking to control our healthcare decisions, we can’t afford a representative who minimizes assault and refuses to stand with survivors.

We’re proud to work for Emily Randall, who has been a consistent advocate for bodily autonomy, healthcare access for all, and justice for survivors.
