The corrupt, rogue, increasingly illegitimate Supreme Court continues to churn out rulings that spell disaster for our personal freedoms, basic human rights, and a functioning democracy.

Before I break down these latest rulings, I need your help:

<[link removed]>DONATE <[link removed]>Yesterday two new rulings were handed down. The first, Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, thoroughly revoked the Chevron doctrine – which has been the backbone of every major federal regulation for 40 years.

This precedent has protected our air and water, workplace safety, labor rights, food and drug safety (just to name a few) from interference by uninformed, partisan lawmakers or lobbyists.

Revoking this rule essentially means that only the court has the proper authority to determine whether or not a manufacturing plant is dumping too many cancer-causing chemicals into our water supply – not the scientists or doctors who study these things.

Ironically (or not), the Chevron doctrine was established in 1984 when a certain EPA Administrator in the Reagan administration was trying to thwart the EPA’s authority from the inside.

That administrator’s name was Anne Gorsuch – mother of current Supreme Court justice Neil Gorsuch.

Gorsuch was also front and center in the second ruling yesterday, Grants Pass v. Johnson, which hardened our nation’s war on unhoused people by criminalizing sleeping – a basic human function essential to survival – in public.

There are policy solutions to undo the damage caused by both of these rulings, and we must pursue those for immediate relief. But we will find ourselves right back here if we take no action to rein in this court.

The Supreme Court of the United States now sits at the top of a rogue and corrupt federal judiciary captured by fascists.

I have a plan to address this <[link removed]> by expanding the court, pursuing term limits, and imposing a judicial code of ethics with a clear path to remove justices who abuse their power.

We can bring that plan to life when we win the White House and deliver a mandate for people, planet, and peace – restoring faith and confidence in our federal government in the process.
