Hi friend, it’s Adam Schiff. In a moment, I'm going to ask you to please chip in to Debbie Mucarsel-Powell's campaign. But before I do that, I wanted to share the following:

As far back as I can remember, Democrats and Republicans have disagreed on many issues, but these were policy differences and both parties shared a common devotion to our country. And when all was said and done, we'd put the best interests of the American people first and work together to get things done. In Trump’s GOP, that’s not true anymore.

Across the nation, we’re seeing Republicans push an increasingly extremist agenda — and Florida is no exception. Trump-aligned incumbent Rick Scott has threatened our democracy time and time again. 

Florida residents deserve better. They need someone who's going to put them first, and that's my friend Debbie. That’s why I’m personally reaching out to grassroots supporters, like you, to ask: Will you please chip in $5 now to help meet Debbie's $1 million end-of-quarter fundraising goal before midnight tonight?

Like Debbie, I'm also running for Senate, so I know what it's like to go up against a Republican extremist. It's not easy, friend, and as the election heats up, Democrats across the U.S. need to work together to remove Rick Scott from office. Especially now that he's officially announced his bid to serve as the next Senate Republican leader. 

I'll be frank, friend: Rick Scott as Senate leader would be extremely dangerous. He's threatened to ban abortions nationwide, end Social Security and Medicare, and raise taxes on working families.

Now more than ever, it's critical for us to help Debbie win the race that could determine control of the Senate and leadership of the GOP. So please, friend:
