Folks, Ballots are set to drop on July 19th, which means the first ballots will be cast in the next three weeks in the race that is our BEST opportunity nationwide to get a Green Party member elected to Congress.
There’s a fast-growing consensus that Rick Larsen has got to go. So much so that this year he’s facing three challengers from his own party, plus the usual array of Republicans, and me – the only candidate who has ever seriously challenged him from the Left.
Thanks to Washington’s Top Two primary system and a crowded race for WA-02, we have a once in a generation opportunity for the Greens to win a seat in Congress.
When we take our spot on the general election ballot, Rick Larsen will have to face an anti-war, anti-genocide, pro-union, and pro-climate challenger in a head to head match-up for the very first time.
We can win this race. I believe in that so much that I made a huge commitment and paid for the complete voter file for WA-02 so we can reach the voters we need between now and the ballot drop.
