Dear Friend,

Time is running out! With only two days left in our fiscal year, we urgently need your support to reach our fundraising goal. Your past contributions have been instrumental in our fight for clean water, and we’re so close to achieving our targets for this year.

Some of the achievements your support enabled this year:
* Challenging the East Grand Lake Project in the Atchafalaya Basin ([link removed]) : Working with Atchafalaya Basinkeeper, environmental groups, and local crawfish producers in Louisiana, we brought a lawsuit to protect this essential wetlands ecosystem from harmful development.
* Holding EPA accountable for their oversight failure on dangerous phosphate mining waste ([link removed]) : We launched a lawsuit with Waterkeepers Florida, Bayou City Waterkeeper, and other partners to address EPA’s failure to regulate toxic and radioactive waste from phosphate mining in an effort to safeguard communities from environmental harm.
* Protecting the Eastern Hellbender Salamander and its Aquatic Habitat: ([link removed]) Working with partners including Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper, Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper, and Waterkeepers Chesapeake, we secured a crucial legal victory that put the Eastern Hellbender Salamander back on track for Endangered Species protection. The Hellbender is an aquatic species that is incredibly sensitive to pollutants, and we are hopeful that this decision will protect all Appalachian animals that rely on clean, free-flowing streams and rivers.

Your donation today will ensure we can continue this essential work and defend communities from harmful pollution, advocate for stronger water protections, and empower local Waterkeeper groups to be effective champions.

Thank you for your steadfast support. Together, we demand clean, healthy, and abundant water for all people and the planet.

To Clean Water,
Marc Yaggi
Chief Executive Officer
