First and foremost, I want to say how grateful I am.

Put simply, the gun lobby and Republican super PACs would’ve put a massive target on me if this grassroots team had not had my back.

Instead, we are in a strong position to hold this seat and organize for Democrats up and down the ballot to hold the White House and Senate and flip the House. That’s only true because folks like you have come through when I needed you most. It’s humbling.

But right now — before tomorrow’s FEC deadline — is one of those important moments where I really need you again. I am proud that we are funding our movement $5, $10, and $20 at a time. This is truly a people-powered campaign — without a dime from PACs or corporations.

I’m counting on everyone who cares about my work to end gun violence and deliver progressive change in Washington to have my back again today. So that means I need to ask for your financial support:

If you can spare a few bucks, will you please pitch in to support my re-election and our movement to end gun violence? We have an important goal to hit before midnight tomorrow, and I cannot get there alone.
