First they take down Roe, then they bring back bump stocks, so why wouldn’t they figure out a way to help out their fellow upside down flag-fliers?

In case you missed it, the Supreme Court struck down the obstruction charge that was used for hundreds of January 6th insurrectionists. We’re so tired of these guys playing the victim and the MTGs of the world lending a sympathetic ear. News flash, if you broke into the Capitol with the intention of obstructing certification, you should be charged with obstruction. Sure, some cases are worse than others, but the bottom line should be pretty cut and dry.

In this particular instance, the case was brought to court by a former police officer from Pennsylvania. He claims he didn’t obstruct anything, but we beg to differ. First off, he actually sent this text from his personal phone, which was later seized by the FBI against his will: “take Democratic Congress to the gallows… can’t vote if they can’t breathe lol.” Yeah. Those sound like the words of a true “patriot.” Who of course had no intent of obstructing anything… right.

And if that wasn’t “patriotic” enough already, there’s actual footage of him yelling “charge” before getting into a scrum with police officers during the insurrection. People who attacked police officers that day are the lowest of the low, and should be treated as such. But, because this is Trump’s Supreme Court, they can get off close to scot-free. Moral of the story? Appoint crooked judges, get crooked rulings.

The one silver lining? This further reminds us of how important this November is. If Convicted Felon Donald Trump wins, that means he will have multiple chances to appoint more of his buddies to the highest court in the land.

Our justice system shouldn’t be run by a criminal. Makes sense, right?
