In fact, this race is getting much closer! A new Cascade PBS/Elway poll puts me within single digits of Sen. Maria Cantwell. Voters are clearly ready for a change. My campaign is on pace to secure the best primary turnout results for a Republican U.S. Senate candidate in the last 20 years.

Garcia (R) - 23%

May 2024 Polling:
Cantwell (D) - 39%
Garcia (R) - 30%

The movement in this race means our strategy is working – now we need to really ramp up our efforts before primary election ballots are mailed out in 3 weeks.

We can’t afford to sit back and wait until the general election simply because there isn’t a Republican primary in this race - we need to act now to lay the groundwork for November! And when we win in November and help secure a Republican majority, my first act in the U.S. Senate will be to pass the Americans Against Fentanyl Act – enacting felony charges and mandatory prison for fentanyl dealers, and mandatory treatment and rehabilitation for addicts.
