Left-wing Media Admits Defeat After First Presidential Debate |
President Joe Biden’s performance at Thursday night’s debate was so bad even the left-wing media can’t help but admit it.
Biden’s embarrassing performance had The Washington Post running headlines like, “Democrats panic over Biden’s debate performance, doubt his future,” and “The Great Democratic Freakout is upon us.”
Over at Politico, the debate had writers going, “‘WTF’: Panicked Dems start looking for alternatives to Biden,” and “Dems freak out over Biden’s debate performance: ‘Biden is toast,’” and “Here’s how Democrats could replace Biden”.
The New York Times was also thrown into a panic: “A Fumbling Performance, and a Panicking Party,” wrote Peter Baker. “’It’s Frightening’: Democratic Voters Worried by Biden’s Struggles in Debate,” penned Shawn Hubler, J. David Goodman, Eduardo Medina, and Campbell Robertson.
Even CNN, the host of Thursday’s debate, ran an article advertising: “Flash Poll: Majority of debate watchers say Trump won debate over Biden.” Their poll found that 67% percent of registered voters who tuned into the debate believed President Trump to be the winner.
Democrat donors and voters ended Thursday night panicked, disappointed, and embarrassed.
In stark contrast, President Trump emerged from the night solidified in his base and with a strengthened rapport with the American people. He succeeded in feeding the Trump-nostalgia Americans are experiencing right now. With rising inflation, two major wars, a drug epidemic, and violence in our cities, Americans can’t help but yearn for the lower taxes, roaring economy, peaceful world, and safe America of the Trump administration.
They know we are better off under President Trump and nothing made that more clear than Thursday's debate. |
CPAC Statement on Fischer v. United States |
CPAC released a statement on Friday celebrating the Supreme Court's decision in Fischer v. United States. CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp commented on X:
"Specifically, Biden’s political prosecution machine used an obstruction statute originally enacted to increase penalties for witness tampering and document shredding.
DOJ has invoked the same obstruction law to increase prison sentences for over 300 January 6th protesters. And Merrick Garland’s hand-picked “special prosecutor,” Jack Smith, had hoped to wield the same statute against President Donald J. Trump.
The Supreme Court has now said prosecutors abused their power in misusing the obstruction statute.
As we have seen, time and time again, President Biden’s DOJ and their cronies including Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis, and Jack Smith have routinely subverted the law and diminished America’s faith in our justice system. Thankfully, today’s ruling in Fischer v. United States puts an end to one of the Left’s attempts to assail our Republic." |
CPAC Seeks Investigation Into Threats Against SCOTUS Justices |
CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp and CPAC Board Member Matt Whitaker submitted a letter this Tuesday to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan and Senate Judiciary Committee Member Lindsey Graham requesting investigation into attacks from the Left on Supreme Court Justices and their family members. Justice Alito is the most recent to come under fire from the left-wing media for his wife's flying of an "Appeal to Heaven" flag.
Attacks such as this one have become regular and obviously coordinated from the Left. "Each year, as the Court concludes its term, radical left-wing activists conjure up ridiculous, if not imaginative, ways to attack the Justices and their families," said Schlapp and Whitaker in the letter.
Ultimately, they urged Jordan and Graham, "Congress must act to ensure that the Supreme Court remain “unhindered and untrammeled." |
