This morning I emailed you saying we passed 4 pieces of legislation. This was an error.

We have passed the bill giving schools the flexibility to renegotiate contracts. The other three pieces of legislation mentioned this morning are pending or being proposed, and my hope is that they get passed quickly on a bipartisan basis.

I want you to know that we are working hard for you and your families around the clock. We will get through this.
