James, one thing is as clear after the presidential debate as it was since Donald Trump first took office: Trump would be a disaster for our democracy.
When Trump was asked what he’d say to people who believed he violated his constitutional oath of office on January 6, 2021, he completely avoided the question TWICE. Then he said, “I did nothing wrong.” Trump also refused to commit to accepting the results of the 2024 election.
The challenge of this election is that progressives and other Democratic voters from 2020 will stay home, and Trump will win. A lot of voters are angry about the choices in this election, and so are we. But we see the alarming threats posed by Trump, and know we must stop him from taking the White House again.
