John, We don’t want to start the weekend with bad news, but we have to give you a quick update on the progress to reach our goal. Unfortunately, right now, we are tracking behind where we want to be. Could you help us get back on track by adding a donation right now?
Typically, we’ll see fundraising slow down in the summer – and June has been a slow month. But, with our current pace, we’re at risk of not reaching our goal at all by tomorrow night. This is urgent, John. Any fundraising slowdown will set us back, especially after three months of not being able to fundraise. Worrying about fundraising is the last thing we want to add to Wes’ plate, so that’s why we rely on our grassroots donors to power our work so we don’t have to ask Wes or the rest of the team to take their focus off making Maryland the best state it can be.
