Like all of you, I have been focused on the coronavirus pandemic, but there was important news last week will impact our campaign:

John, we’re doing everything we can to prepare for the November election, but we know what we will be facing this fall. As our campaign has been navigating the public health crisis and economic challenges our country faces and adjusting to a new normal amid so much suffering, two Republican Super PACs have already bought $1.4 million worth of TV time in our district to run ads against me from September through November.

I’m proud of the work that Abigail is doing to strengthen our country’s response to this crisis. It’s so clear: strong leadership in Washington matters. We need leaders like Abigail to lead us through challenging times.

While there is uncertainty at this time there are two things I know we can bank on:

→ Our campaign will be one of the most competitive in the country

→ Outside Republican groups will spend whatever they can to defeat Abigail
