Dear John,

Were you there last weekend? If you were, it was so great to Celebrate Life with you! You know how important friends are, especially when facing difficult challenges.  I would not survive without my friends, especially when times are hard.

That is exactly what the first annual Celebrate Life Weekend was all about: friends coming together to support each other during these challenging times.

We commemorated the second anniversary of the reversal of Roe vs. Wade! (I can’t believe it happened in my lifetime! Can you?) However, as you know, the battle is now flooding your state, county, city, and neighborhood! As the U.S. Campaign Director, I need new strategies to help you win those battles!

I understand how hard it is to know exactly what to do. After all, I’m trying to raise my kids, get to work on time, and make dinner before soccer practice. “What can I do?”

We have all asked the same question in our hometowns. At Celebrate Life we were empowered by inspirational stories of  “Everyday Heroes,” like sixteen-year-old Maeve Kitchens, who set out to start a pregnancy help center in her hometown and raised over $400,000!  Heroes like Stephanie and Jerry Kapp have been married for 49 years and work tirelessly with Sidewalk Advocates, Jerry in IT, and Stephanie on the ground. No one is too young or too old to stand for Life!

I wanted to stand up and shout your name as part of the CitizenGO family! Every chance I got, I shared how your support makes all the difference! I shared how we won the battle for the D.C. Five this past fall, how you are still standing in the gap to defend the freedom of Eva Eld, and that your voice is making a difference with lawmakers and their decisions concerning the repeal of the FACE Act!

It is time for a new battle plan!

CitizenGO stands with you in your battles. New coaltiions were forged at Celebrate Life to face the new enemy of Life at the local and state levels of government. The GREAT news is that our united strength grows stronger each year, and your voices are heard.

Lucia Gonzales, our brand-new U.S. Spanish Campaign Director, and I were in D.C. during a heatwave! We rallied at the Lincoln Memorial, in the shadow of our national beacon of freedom and human rights. What better place? There we reunited with long-time supporters and made new friends.

And what is a reunion without a party? We Celebrated Life with Patriot Mobile, Glenn and Jenny Story, Kristen Hawkins of Students for Life, and Terresa Bukovinac of PAAU. PLUS, we heard Matt Walsh obliterate pro-abortion arguments!

I want to personally thank you for standing with the CitizenGO family! I am so proud of your support and all you do. You make it possible for us to fight on the front lines for family, life, and freedom!

I want you to know I always take you with me. I take your voice, your heart, and your determination! Because of you, we are winning the battles set before us during our lives—the battles we were born to fight!

Thank you for Celebrating LIFE!

Anna Derbyshire, US Campaign Director

P.S.-If you didn't get to attend Celebrate Life Weekend, this year, plan to join us next year! I will keep you posted!  If this is work you are proud of and you have the means, please consider making a regular contribution to our movement. 5 Dollars a month means we can always keep up the fight.
