Bernie Sanders’ contributions to our progressive movement cannot be
overstated. His work sparked a political revolution and his policies
awakened the imagination of the American people about what a more just and
equitable society could look like.

As a National Co-Chair of Bernie’s campaign and the first member of
Congress to endorse him, it was difficult to see him end his campaign for
president last week. I am so thankful for everything he has done to push
our movement forward.

But this is what I know to be true: Our work to transform our political
system will continue. Justice Democrats is going to play a pivotal role in
continuing Bernie’s political revolution by working to elect more
transformative leaders who will fight for Bernie’s vision for the future.

Bernie’s campaign may be over, but the struggle for justice continues.

leaders in Congress who will have the moral clarity to support and fight
for these transformative policies.
