Greetings #Team Alsobrooks,

Thank you to all our supporters who showed up and showed out! Our
people-powered movement is growing more and more everyday.

In case you missed it, here’s what’s been happening on the campaign trail
and beyond:

The two year anniversary of Dobbs is a reminder that we must be vigilant
in fighting for and protecting our freedoms and never take our liberties
for granted. We joined Vice President Kamala Harris to discuss how we can
protect reproductive rights and stand against Donald Trump and the
Republican party’s attempt to strip away democracy.

We are proud to announce that the Maryland State Education Association has
endorsed our campaign for Senate. As County Executive, Angela broke ground
on 10 new schools in Prince George’s. As Senator, she will continue the
fight to increase Title I funding for public education and support our
students and teachers. No child’s zip code should determine the quality of
their education.

Thank you former Councilwoman Megan Outten for hosting and to former State
Senator James Mathias and everyone else who joined us for an awesome meet
and greet in Ocean City! It was so great chatting with folks about how we
are going to protect reproductive rights, fight gun violence, and ensure
Democrats have the key 51st vote in the Senate. Let’s keep Maryland blue
together!

Maryland Democrats were fired up at the MD Dems gala! Our future is at
stake this election, and it is the honor of a lifetime to be your nominee
for Senate. We are taking this fight and our momentum all the way to the
polls this November. Together, we will win.

We had the pleasure of marching in the Scotland Juneteenth Festival at the
Cabin John Regional Park, a place where enslaved Americans were once
forced to work. The Scotland community was one of the earliest African
American settlements in Montgomery County and represents the resilience of
the early families who called this neighborhood home. Thank you to
everyone who joined us, including Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich,
and marched alongside our team. We will never stop fighting until we
achieve true equality for all!

Proud to join so many familiar faces at Bowie’s Juneteenth weekend
celebration. Juneteenth is a chance to celebrate the progress we’ve made
and is also a reminder of the substantial work that needs to be done for
the community.

Thank you to Senator Ben Cardin for joining us for a discussion with
Jewish community leaders in Pikesville and a tour of the Pikesville
Armory.

Thank you to Prince George’s County Muslim Council for letting us join
their Eid al-Adha celebration. Great to see friends, Councilman Calvin
Hawkins and Circuit Court Clerk Mahasin El Amin!

Another great Sunday service in the books! Thank you to Pastor Matthew L.
Watley for the invitation to join the Kingdom Fellowship AME Church
congregation. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

The 6th annual Kappa Takeover was a huge success! Thank you to Terence
Matthews for the invitation, and to Grand Polemarch Jimmy McMikle, Eastern
Province Polemarch Richard Mattox, and all of the leadership, for allowing
us to join you for such a worthy cause. We are grateful for the work of
Kappa Alpha Psi in creating scholarships and community service programs
for young people around our nation.

It was so great joining Ray Benton to kick off the JTCC Children’s tennis
tournament in College Park! Thanks to everyone in the community who came
together to make this tournament a success.

Thank you to the folks at IBEW Local 26 for your endorsement and for a
great roundtable discussion about how we can do more to support the over
820,000 members and retirees who do so much to support our economy along
with a tour of your facilities.

Here on Team Alsobrooks, we’re proud to be a campaign powered by
grassroots donors. We believe in Angela's ability to go further and do
better for our communities, and we know you do too! It’s going to take all
of us working together to get Angela over the finish line this November.
