I know you’ve been getting a lot of emails from us about our end-of-quarter deadline, and I wanted to explain why it’s so important.

So, here are five reasons why it’s critical that we reach our $50,000 FEC goal before Sunday's deadline:

1. This seat is very, very competitive. National experts have already rated this race a TOSS-UP, and they have rated my Republican opponent, Marc Molinaro, the 5th most vulnerable Republican in the House.


2. Republican Super PACs are spending big against us. They know Molinaro’s seat is at risk, so they’re already planning on spending tens of millions in NY-19 to protect him.


3. Donald Trump endorsed my opponent, and my opponent endorsed Trump, so there’s no doubt that MAGA Republicans will flood NY-19 with cash to support Molinaro and attack me.


4. Mike Johnson and Elise Stefanik are also all in on protecting Molinaro. Both have already helped raise huge amounts of money for Molinaro, and Johnson recently came here to campaign for Molinaro.


5. We’re completely grassroots. While Molinaro is relying on corporate PACs to fund his campaign, we’re running a grassroots operation, which means we’re counting on your support to help us keep up with all the dark money being poured into the race.
