Hey there, it’s Molly, Susan’s Campaign Manager. As we approach our public FEC fundraising deadline, I wanted to check in here on our progress.

As of this morning, our finance team let me know that we’re falling behind on our $30,000 grassroots fundraising goal. Will you rush a contribution to get us back on track?

This is our first public deadline since we found out Susan will be facing far-right extremist Ryan Mackenzie this November. With the NRCC and Koch money already heavily involved in this race, there will be a lot of eyes on our final numbers, and they’ll use it as a way to determine whether we have the strength to win.

As we head towards the summer months, this is historically a slower time for fundraising, so we need all the help we can get to show the strength of our grassroots campaign.

Defending this seat won’t be easy, but Susan’s won tough races before, and I know we can do it again. Will you contribute $25 or whatever you can to Susan’s re-election campaign today?
